PARISH

The parish is comprised of the suburbs of Milton, Auchenflower, Paddington and Rosalie, a densely populated inner-city area.  It has its origins in the earliest years of Brisbane’s settlement.  Christ Church is a heritage listed building, with old world charm. Read more>>

 

 

PRECINCT

The precinct at Milton comprises the old historic rectory and the grounds between the rectory and the church.  Within the rectory is the Hardman-Perry Room, a 19th century drawing room, with a charming fireplace and folding cedar doors, of elegant proportions. Read more>>

UPDATE ON CHRIST CHURCH

 

DIARY DATE's CLAIMER:

Saturday the 17th to SUNDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 2016 IS THE 125TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST SERVICE HELD IN THE SECOND CHURCH BUILT AT CHRIST CHURCH. PLEASE KEEP THese DATEs FREE to join us. These celebrations will include a mini local and family history group fair amongst the incredible grounds here at the heritage listed site of Christ Church and the Memorial Cemetery parklands.

 

THE CHRIST CHURCH BUILDING IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING FURTHER REPAIRS AND RESTORATION WORKS FOLLOWING THE 2014 STORM DAMAGE, WITH THE END OF THE REPAIR PROCESS DRAWING EVER NEARER - WATCH THIS SPACE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION!

 

WHILST CHRISTCHURCH CONTINUES TO UNDERGO THESE REPAIRS AND REFURBISHMENTS, ALL SERVICES ARE BEING HELD AT:

 

HOLY SPIRIT CHAPEL, ST FRANCIS COLLEGEACCESS IS FROM BAROONA ROAD OPPOSITE IGA.  THERE IS AMPLE ONSITE PARKING.

 

May 2016 SUNDAY SERVICES are held at 8.30am on the following Sundays:

1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd & 29th May 2016 respectively, with each service followed by our lovely morning tea.

 

WEDNESDAY SAID EUCHARIST will be held at THE CHAPEL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, ST FRANCIS COLLEGE at 12.30pm on the following dates in May 2016:  4th, 11th, 18th & 25th respectively.
